FUDJISMA project is a project designed by the Federal University Dutse with the basic intent of uniting the entire businesses in Jigawa state under one umbrella for the purpose of unity and control. The word FUDJISMA is an acronym for Federal University Dutse & Jigawa Support Marketers Association. After our pilot study on the businesses in jigawa state, it became clear to us that if we can restructure and organize the businesses and create a responsive chain of command amongst the marketers, we are 95% confident that Jigawa State will be an icon in the field of successful modern business transformation in Nigeria and the second commercial centre in Northern Nigeria, in few years to come.
With this perspective in mind we are approaching the snow ball worthy ideal in phases. In order to succeed we have to define success in this context. We therefore looked at success as a progressive realization of a worthy ideal. This worthy ideal (FUDJISMA project) is being driven on certain goals. The goals for phase 1 of the FUDJISMA project is centered towards organizing the marketers and uniting them under a single umbrella and also to carry out a research on the status of the marketers and the businesses in Jigawa state and hence proffer a realistic and feasible suggestions on the way forward.
Transforming the ways and manners of business conducts through special trainings, workshops and seminars targeted towards resetting the minds of the businessmen/women to being entrepreneurial in their entire business conducts and, to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship in women and youth in Jigawa state, thereby enhancing the development of MSMEs in the state to further illuminate the business environment to potential investors at national and international level.
A leading business support function dedicated towards unlocking potentials for growth and competitiveness amongst businessmen/women thereby transforming Jigawa state to one of the most viable commercial centers in northern Nigeria.
To contribute in creating awareness on an ideal business conducts thereby reducing poverty and enhancing enterprise development for economic development through provision of demand driven services that will create employment and generate income to the service user.

Obviously in order to be a good corporate citizen we must first be good neighbors and our brothers/sisters keepers. Based on our principle of town and gown we have stepped forward to address some specific needs of the community in which we exist. We work through volunteering and grants & donations from concerned individuals and organizations across the globe.
Our donations support formal and informal education, internally displaced people (IDPs), reorientation of businessmen/women, health and safety, natural resources, arts and monuments, civic and social services, and disaster relief.
